Ken Kellaway, Co-Founder, Chairman, President and CEO, is in charge of the overall leadership, vision, strategy, growth, and development of RoadOne IntermodaLogistics. With 35+ years of logistics experience and commitment to the drayage industry throughout his lifetime, Ken’s vision has led the development of RoadOne’s dedicated asset-based solutions for clients in transloading and dedicated fleet operations as well as yard and chassis management programs. Ken is recognized as one of the nation’s leaders in the intermodal industry and most recently received the prestigious honor of the 2022 Connie Award from Containerization & Intermodal Institute in December 2022, becoming the first drayman to win this award in the 50-years it has been given out.
Prior to RoadOne, Ken founded Kellaway Intermodal & Distribution Systems and grew that to the largest intermodal logistics operation in the Northeast from 1987-2000. Kellaway Intermodal was then one of the founding companies to form RoadLink, the largest national provider of intermodal trucking and workforce solutions in the US from 2000 – 2012, where he served as CCO and President. As true entrepreneur, Ken has also founded multiple other national businesses in the space, such as Kinimatic, a leader in asset light warehousing, distribution, and eCommerce fulfillment, and more recently he co-founded a collaborative port logistics platform, EDRAY, in hopes of mitigating many of the issues found in modern port logistics.
Ken received a Bachelor of Science degree from Providence College for his undergraduate degree and holds an MBA from Babson Business School. He serves on multiple industry and charity boards and enjoys golf, skiing, and multiple outdoor activities. When Ken is not traveling around the country for work, he enjoys spending time with his family in Cape Cod and Florida where he resides.
